CONCESSIONS PLEA FOR VOLUNTEERS

Parents- there are still openings for concessions on January 6, 15, 20 and 28. I am asking all parents to volunteer some hours to support our sports program. If you have not signed- up yet, please find some time in your schedule to help run our concessions.

BASKETBALL NOTES THURSDAY NOVEMBER 13

Please note: There will be no boys basketball practice on Friday, December 12. It has been moved to Thursday, December 11 due a church conflict.

Parents, there will be a sign-up sheet posted next to the sports bulletin board for home game concessions. Please sign up for at least one game. This is our way of generating fund-raising money. So, please participate and help boost Comet Sports!!!!!

Basketball schedule changes

Please make note of the practice schedule changes. There will not be a girls practice on Friday, November 14 or Monday November 17. These practices have been re-scheduled for Thursday, November 13 and Tuesday, November 18.

BASKETBALL MEETING MONDAY NOVEMBER 3

Basketball mandatory meeting on Monday, November 3 for parents and students has been scheduled. The practice schedule, expectations and new rules will be discussed.

SPORTS MEETING and PRACTICE SCHEDULE

Parents,

Mrs. Kellerman and myself have decided to be the head coaches for the boys and girls teams. We will be meeting with each other this Friday to determine a practice schedule. We are planning on having a parent/athlete meeting on either Monday, November 3 or Wednesday, November 5. A letter will be coming out shortly as a reminder along with the time of the meeting. At this meeting, we will hand out the practice schedule, remind athletes about the needed items such as a sports physical and league fee. I am also meeting all of the other athletic directors on Saturday, November 8 to set up a schedule. I am also going to try and get each team into one tournament this year and all of the details regarding the upcoming season will be discussed at the meeting.
