Gwen Greeler

¡Hola! My name is Gwen Greeler and I am the Spanish teacher at Beautiful Savior Lutheran School. I have been teaching Spanish to the fifth through eighth grade students since the 2004 - 2005 school year. I was born in Milwaukee and I have lived in the area all of my life. I am a graduate of the Milwaukee Public Schools. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education and French, with a Minor in Spanish from UW-Milwaukee. Due to a lack of positions for foreign language teachers when I graduated, I joined the world of business. Except for one semester of teaching Spanish, that is where I spent my career. In 1983 I earned a Master's Degree in Management from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee. In 1985 I was presented with the opportunity to become an owner of the New Berlin, Wisconsin manufacturing company where I had been employed since 1979. In 2000, we moved manufacturing operations to a plant in Reynosa, Mexico. This caused me to refresh my Spanish skills. I sold the business in August 2005. My husband, Al, and I have two married daughters and a son, and seven grandchildren. I am blessed to be part of the Beautiful Savior Lutheran School family in my second career!
