A Brief History of Beautiful Savior Lutheran School

Beautiful Savior's school ministry began in 1986 with the start of a morning preschool program to serve the community and help parents bring up their children in the way of the Lord. Kindergarten was offered in 1998, Currently, the school ministry of Beautiful Savior offers classes from three-year-old preschool through grade six.

Students are encouraged to develop a Christ-centered world view through daily instruction in God's Word, weekly chapel services, and various service projects besides the basic core curriculum of all elementary schools. Students also have the opportunity to learn Spanish, hone technology skills, produce books through our school's "publishing company," and participate in music, drama, yearbook club, and sports.

Besides classrooms, our school campus includes an art center, science lab, computer lab, music center, and gymnasium with a high school sized basketball court. Rooms are air conditioned for comfort on warm days. The outside includes a play structure for the younger students and plenty of area to run around at recess. We are most thankful to our Lord for guiding the building projects that resulted in the addition of classrooms in 2000 and the gym in 2005.

Our gracious Lord has always blessed our school ministry with wonderful teachers, volunteers, secretaries, and administrators. Currently, our principal is Mr. Harvey Stowe who before retirement spent over three decades in the School District of Waukesha, including several years as principal of Horning Middle School.

We invite you to stop in and learn more about our school ministry firsthand and see how Beautiful Savior Lutheran School not only provides a safe environment with excellent academics, but is a true workshop of the Holy Spirit.
