Music Opportunities

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Psalm 100:1-2

The blessings of the Lord are many. As you think about those blessings, consider giving them back to the Lord. One gift you can return to the Lord is the gift of music. As we are directed in the Psalms: "Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song." Psalm 95:1-2

How can you be a part of praising our Lord? You can become a part of the music ministry here at Beautiful Savior. There are a variety of groups available, which means a variety of commitment levels. Let's make a commitment to our Lord to "Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." Eph. 5:19

Listed below are the opportunities to become involved with the music ministry. We each have unique and special gifts. Let's unite in our gift of music to glorify God. Please prayerfully consider how you can serve the Lord and use your gifts and blessings to praise the Lord.

Adult Choir

Meets once a week on Wednesday from 7:15-8:15 p.m. in the Music Center. Sings about 2 times per month and festivals. High school age and up.

Handbell Choir

Meets once a week on Wednesday from 6:15-7:15 p.m. in the church. Plays once a month at both services. Middle school age and up.

Praise Group

Contemporary style of music. Vocal and Instrumental. Sings second Sunday of each month beginning in October. Rehearsal is the first Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. All ages welcome.

Vocalists

If you would like to sing as a soloist or in a small group, please contact the Music Director. Rehearsals are scheduled as needed. All ages welcome.

Instrumentalists

If you play an instrument and would like to play as a soloist or in a small group, please contact the Music Director. Rehearsals are scheduled as needed. All ages welcome.

Sunday School Choir

The children in our Sunday School join together as a choir 4 times during the year. The children rehearse on Sunday mornings in the multi-purpose room before they go to their Sunday School classes. All children are invited to participate.
