Church Polity
The system of government that is used at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church is a Voters Assembly, Church Council, 9 Parish Boards form of government.
Voters Assemblies
Besides specially called meetings, two Voters Assemblies are scheduled each year, the Annual Election Meeting in May and the Budget Meeting in December. The Voters Assembly has adopted a Constitution and By-Laws to govern the congregation.
Church Council
The Church Council meets on the second Tuesday of each month. The purpose of the Council is to set the dates, times and agendas of Voters Assemblies and to coordinate the work of the 9 parish boards.

The 9 parish boards and their work are as follows:
Board of Education
The Board of Education is made up of 6 members. Their responsibilities are to foster Christian growth of the members of Beautiful Savior through Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Confirmation classes, Youth Bible classes, Adult Bible classes and Family Life Education.
Board of Elders
The Board of Elders is made up of 8 members. As they care for the spiritual welfare of the congregation, each Elder serves for a month at a time and assists the Pastors in preparing the church for worship, with baptisms, in distributing Holy Communion, in coordinating with the Usher Teams, and with visitation among the members of the congregation.
Board of Evangelism
The Board of Evangelism is made up of 3 members. The purpose of the board is to facilitate outreach to the community, publicize the times and dates of regular and special services, and send out special mailings to the community.
Board of Fellowship
The Board of Fellowship is made up of 3 members. Their responsibilities are to provide greeters for each service, to encourage fellowship within the congregation, and to welcome new members.
School Board
The School Board is made up of 7 members. Their purpose is to assist the faculty and staff in maintaining an excellent Christian Day School as well oversee the curriculum and business of Beautiful Savior Lutheran School.
Board of Social Welfare
The Board of Social Welfare is made up of 3 members. The responsibility of this board is to provide tapes of the worship services for the homebound and reach out to the needy of the congregation and in the community. The Board of Social Welfare sponsors two to three Fish & Loaves Meals in a year for the less fortunate of the community.
Board of Stewardship
The Board of Stewardship is made up of 3 members. The duties of this board include the ordering and distribution of contribution envelopes, the surveying of the talents and abilities of the members of the congregation, the directing of the annual stewardship program, and the preparation of the annual budget in connection with the Church Council for presentation at the December Voters Assembly.
Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is made up of 7 members. The purpose of the board is to inspect and maintain the buildings and property of the congregation.
Board of Youth
The Board of Youth is made up of 3 members. Their responsibility is to develop and implement programs for the involvement, spiritual growth and Christian fellowship of the youth of the congregation.
