Don't have time for holiday baking? Stressed out from all the shopping? Are you looking for a fun and easy way to get your Christmas baking done and support your school and church at the same time?! If so, PLEASE COME!

9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The sale will be held in Beautiful Savior Lutheran's gymnasium.

Teachers will be available to discuss our school, hot chocolate and coffee will be available, and lots and LOTS of goodies to tempt everyone's sweet tooth (teeth?). We sure hope to see you there!

We Need Your Help to Make This a Success!

The Christmas Baker's Shop will be held on Saturday, December 13 from 9-1. We need people to come friday night and set up and to help staff on saturday. Please consider attending one of the baking parties (Dec. 8 and 11) where we will create delicious home made cookies to sell or feel free to donate your own specialty homemade Christmas cookies! Finally, we need your help in announcing the sale to the community. Please post flyers at work, in your neighborhood, and any other venue that is receptive. Thank you for all your hard work!

Campbells Labels

Just a reminder to keep the labels coming in so your child(ren) can win the pizza party! So far the first graders are winning with 74 labels turned in. Way to go first graders!!! :) Keep in mind, when clipping the labels we need the UPC only. Thank you!

Open Meeting recap

We had a very nice meeting last monday, we got to meet some new parents and say "hello" to some returning parents. It's always wonderful to see parents show up and be involved.
Most of the meeting focused on the Christmas Cookie fundraiser and how to make this a wonderful success for BSL. What a great opportunity we have to reach out to the community AND do something beneficial for our children! Please start thinking now about how you and your family can make this a fun event and a big success.
We also discussed a big push for Campbells Labels in the month of November. Start saving them now as the class that turns in the most amount of Campbells points will win a PIZZA PARTY! Yum! Hint: if you check the Campbells website (www.labelsforeducation.com) there are a lot of ideas for collecting more points.
As always, we encourage and appreciate any input that you, the parents at BSL, may have.

Movie night

What a fantastic night we all had last friday! Herbie was a big hit, the popcorn (once popped, thanks Mark and Laurie!) flew off the table. Everyone had a great time. Thank you to everyone who came and made this night such a success! We look forward to more Family Nights in the future!

PTL Open Meeting

It's that time of year again... the PTL is having its open meeting.

Monday, October 6 at 6:30.

We would love to see a great turnout as we will be planning things that directly affect YOU the parent. For example: our fundraisers, family night ideas, and upcoming events.

Ding Dong the Kids are STILL Gone!!

We had such a positive response to our Ding Dong the Kids are Gone breakfast that we decided to do it again! October 14 at 8:30, drop off the kids at class and head downstairs for some nice "grown up" time complete with doughnuts and drinks! Little ones are always welcome.
