"I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called
me heavenward in Christ Jesus."

This year Beautiful
Savior Lutheran School will graduate its first group of eighth
graders. They have chosen as their graduation Bible verse the
words from Matthew 17:20 where Jesus says, "...I tell you the truth, if
you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this
mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing
will be impossible for you." When asked why they picked this
verse, they said it is because they are moving out of this small, safe
environment and on to high school, a yet unknown adventure. The
students stated, "For high school you have to have a lot of
faith. If you are in a tough situation, you can think of this
verse and get strength and comfort from the words of Jesus."
Beautiful Savior Lutheran School exists to connect children to life in Jesus. Our eighth graders, through baptism, are connected to Jesus. Over their years of attendance at Beautiful Savior, they have grown in stature, in knowledge and in their faith. Their statements are evidence that they have daily met Jesus here at school, and that the Holy Spirit has worked faith in their hearts. Our deepest desire is to bring more children to the feet of Jesus to learn of His unending love for all people no matter how grievously they have sinned. His perfect life, sacrificial death on the cross, and His resurrection assure us that by faith we will spend our eternity with God in heaven.
